Nuclear & Power

Brilliantly engineering a cleaner, safer Net Zero world

We are collaborative and specialist teams, operating end to end on nuclear facilities across the globe.

We have decades of work in the pipeline - engineering, delivering, managing and decommissioning - on projects including new builds like Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C, and working alongside organizations including EDF, Magnox and Rolls Royce.

Together, we're driving evolution in offshore generation and transmission, energy from waste, electric vehicle infrastructure and the integration of smart grid technology. And we're also proud to play a part in reaching Net Zero by 2050.

We all recognize that it is more than just a job. It's about the impact we can make to improve our world and keep everyone safe. It's about making the complex simple and the delivering on our vision every day.

And in doing so, we are creating plenty of challenging opportunities to grow your career and propel you towards leadership.

We provide fully integrated engineering and project management services for all power-generating nuclear facilities in the UK, and are growing rapidly with an increasing portfolio of significant projects including support to new-build on Rolls-Royce's submarine fleets, civil generating stations alongside EDF, or end-of-lifecycle in partnership with Magnox.

Our exciting portfolio of work covers both Nuclear Fission and Fusion new build projects which are a critical component in achieving our carbon net zero targets. We apply multi-discipline AtkinsRéalis skills across the whole project lifecycle, from initiation all the way through to commissioning and commercial operation.

We’re incredibly proud that we’re recognised as a key and trusted component of the nuclear new build industry through delivering engineering and project expertize through our brilliant workforce.

Everyone working in this team is making a huge impact on carbon net zero. Together, we’re strengthening the UK’s nuclear capacity as well as driving innovation in renewables. Our shared commitment to achieving CNZ targets in the UK brings us all together; we're visibly and actively engineering a better future.

When a nuclear site reaches retirement, our specialist teams are uniquely equipped to provide 360 services – from strategic advice to operations and full product delivery.

Our global waste management capabilities connect people, data and technology to provide cutting-edge tools, robotic solutions and treatment techniques for all types of waste, essentially removing the risk to humans in that space.
