What will you be involved in with a graduate scheme in Hong Kong?

If you join us on a graduate engineering scheme, you can expect to be involved in feasibility studies, preliminary designs, detailed designs, tender documents and assessments, construction supervision, site inspections, project management and working overseas.

You’ll also have an opportunity to be part of AtkinsRéalis Young Professional (AYP), which we established to create a non-competitive environment for learning development, experience sharing and broadening network connections. 

What does career progression look like in engineering?

Typically, the career progression for an engineer at AtkinsRéalis begins with a graduate scheme, during which you’ll spend 2 to 3 years with the HKIE or ICE Scheme training. Following this, you’ll step up to Assistant Engineer, generally for around 3 to 4 years or upon completion of training and after this become a Professional Engineer. For those that want to continue on this career path, the next step up is becoming an Associate Director or Technical Director.
