To build and maintain an effective and supportive working relationship with members of the team and colleagues both within SLPGM and its client.
To work as part of the SNC team, providing a high quality engineering service as part of an integrated Facilities Management service.
Help to ensure that all MECHANICAL / AC related maintenance is being delivered in full compliance of Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations.
Work within a culture of customer service and the meeting of SLPGM values.
Develop own skills by fully utilising the onsite training task books.
Partake in a rota covering the site 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.
To provide overall onsite maintenance of MECHANICAL / AC services and observe Health and Safety.
To help identify methods that will offer cost savings and efficiencies.
To work within the Quality (ISO 9000) systems for the maintenance department.
To provide comprehensive maintenance service as detailed within the contract.
To take an active role in helping to ensure that reactive and preventative maintenance is carried out within SLA.
To provide regular updates to your supervisor.
To assist in the identification of MECHANICAL / HVAC spares/equipment across the estate.
To actively assist others for the timely completion of works within the target times.
To undertake personal training and development as required meeting the change in service needs of the department.
To ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements within the department.
Required to work in all areas of maintenance activity that are frequently hot, humid, exposed, at heights, uncomfortable and sometimes highly unpleasant.
Complete task sheets and paper work as detailed by your line manager.
To undertake fault diagnosis.
To actively promote and support good working practices within the department.
To communicate well at management level and with contractors.
Oversee, inspect and ensure safe working of contractors.
Attend weekly safety training provided by the HSE department
Implementation, updates and constant review of site logbooks
Any other such tasks and duties relevant to the post as may be determined in agreement with the MECHANICAL / HVAC Supervisor.
