Duties & Responsibilities:

• Under limited supervision, develop designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, specifications, Data sheets, Bid Documents, Bid evaluations, engineering directives, and other data, according to client specifications.
• Design earthworks, drainage systems, site underground services, Water shed management, Haul Road designs and Pumps Systems for infrastructure projects in the mining , processing and municipal industries.
• Ensure that project design solutions are delivered in accordance to the relevant codes and regulations and to the highest industry standards on schedule and within budget.
• Quality check all work and work of other designers to ensure to meet SNC QA/QC requirements and project specific requirements.
• Preparing report, technical memo, meeting minutes and proposals.
• Conducting field investigations.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

• Thorough knowledge of applicable theories, practices, and accepted office procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, ability to maintain confidential information critical.
• Must be proficient with water gems, sewer cad, Drainage Cad, Culvert master, flow master and pond Pack software along with the standard Microsoft suite.
• Working knowledge of Micro-Station, Civil 3D, AutoCAD.

Education and Experience:

• BS/B.E or MS/M.E in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of Civil Engineering experience. 
• Must have experience in designs for earthworks, drainage systems, site underground services.
• Experience of Water shed management, Haul Road designs and Pumps Systems preferred.
• Relevant professional registration preferred.
