We are currently looking for an ambitious and dedicated individual who is interested in joining the Atkins Global Design Centre (GDC), Project Support Office in the capacity of Bid Support/coordinator. The position will allow the individual in working collaboratively with a project support team providing Bid Support on various global projects.
The qualified candidate will be taking a proactive approach to working with Bid Managers, Directors and Business Development Teams, starting from the initial preparation of the Bid, maintaining of Material repositories to analysing the outcome of the submitted bids. The candidate will also support senior Project Managers and Operations Manager with GDC Projects/Bids.
Supporting bid teams throughout the bid cycle through:
· Supporting Bid Managers to deliver a tailored bid to the clients on time and in correct format
· Ensuring bid process aligns with Shipley guidance process
· Preparing progress trackers and schedule progress update teleconference and group meetings
· Complete searches for case studies or previous answers upon request.
· Format CVs in line with individual bid templates
Administration and maintenance of historic information.
· Populate and maintain bid answer library, ensuring all documents are up to date
· Populate and maintain past project library, ensuring all case studies are in correct format and complete, with regular audits to archive as necessary
Recording and reporting of bid outcomes
· Use of opportunity recording software (CRM) to obtain information on bid outcomes
· Contact Bid Managers and support in the completion of bid outcome form and capture completed bid/client feedback.
· Prepare reports and presentations for Executive officers to help with future pursuits
Supporting in the completion of Case studies
· Liaise with UK Finance department to obtain monthly reports on project closures
· On project closure, support Project Managers in the completion of case studies
· Recommend Improvement in processes or implementation of the Bid Support System/ Project Support System
· Ensuring compliance with BMS, HSE and Quality procedures related to Atkins
