BIM designer/Engineer - Mechanical

Required Software Experience:
Autodesk Revit MEP-Electrical, Navisworks (or) similar coordination/review software.
 
Required Education Qualifications:
BE/ME in Electrical Engineering with 8-10 years’ experience minimum in the AEC industry experience / sound knowledge of MEP systems. 
 
Job Functions:
3D model-based multi-disciplinary trade coordination in preparation for construction and produce coordination drawings as required in Revit MEP Environment.
Check model for Stage Completeness, Dimensional accuracy against modelling standards.
Ensure Level of Quality control for Completeness and adherence to company standards of all Drawings produced.
Create Building internal / External Walkthroughs (MEP elements) and Client Presentation on BIM projects.
 
Responsibility as Electrical BIM designer;
Electrical Template creation (Views, Cable tray types, View templates, Sheets etc.,)
Filters creation (Assign Color codes, Line types, Line thickness etc.,)
Lighting devices, lighting fixtures with circuiting, small power & Cable tray fittings.
Parametric family creation (Lighting & emergency lighting fixtures, Outlets, Fire alarm, Security, Containment, Earthing, trunking with fittings and its accessories etc.,)
Soft Skill:
Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills essential both within the internal project team and externally etc.,
Stay informed the best practices & methodologies in BIM implementation.
Ensure Level of Quality control for Completeness and adherence to company standards of all Drawings produced.
