We support our clients with services that include Asset Management programs, consulting, technical advice, surveying and condition assessment, and other capabilities.

As part of our growth strategy, we are investing in our digital Asset Management (dAM) capabilities as well as partnerships that allow us to bring new offerings and delivery models to our clients. This encompasses software applications, system integration services, and managed services.

The Director of digital Asset Management is one of several key positions to focus on bringing new revenues to the Group and new value to our clients in the area of digital Asset Management (dAM). The role will have dual reporting to the dAM Global Leader, and to the UK and Europe business.



The Role

This role presents a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team, to play a leading role in building and executing Atkins’ plan for the future, driving sales and proposition development in their Asset Management strategy and growth plan. It will necessitate ambition, creativity, technical knowledge, management experience and commercial acumen to create and manage new revenue streams for the business. The role will work collaboratively across the different divisions within Atkins UK, in a matrix form alongside the digital asset management team, headquartered in the US.

Responsibilities

Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Delivering in-year sales.
• Building pipeline.
• Developing Client value propositions with colleagues and proactively taking to market.
• Working with account directors to formulate key account plans, identifying opportunities for new service penetration.
• Building a leading presence in the Asset Management ecosystem, establishing strong senior relationships in new and existing markets.
• Work with the marketing team to ensure that Atkins insight, thought leadership and marketing campaigns are properly targeted to build our asset management profile and deliver return on investment.
• Developing and executing further growth strategies.
• Ability to understand and describe how solutions and features can address the business issues customers are facing.
• Will be responsible for overall process of sales from generating leads, to reporting, sales calls, sales meetings, follow up and closing opportunities.
• Leveraging in ADS&T practice capabilities (Business Consulting, Programme and Project Management and Technology Solutions and Services) to build End to End solutions.


Candidate Profile

• A deep domain knowledge of digital asset management and experience in enterprise asset management (EAM), asset performance management (APM) and asset investment planning (AIP).
• An extensive track record of success selling software products and solutions to large organisations.
• May be working in a large organisation but seeking to take a more entrepreneurial position in a fast-developing new business inside Atkins.
• Experience of both working in Aerospace and Defence Markets as well as Infrastructure markets (rail, road, building/property, airports, water).
• Familiar with working in a matrix environment and will ideally have had international experience.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience and understanding of the cost of delivery and how to manage for value.
• Ideally have had Consultancy as well as a Business Development expertise and experience

Location

This role could be based anywhere in the UK, but would require frequent travel to London.

 

Security Clearance

 

This role requires security clearance and any offers of employment will be subject to gaining this.
