Construction and Equipment Closeout Coordinator
We are growing in Pennsylvania! If you have related MEP experience and want to join a multibillion international company with lots of opportunity for growth, then we would like to speak with you. This pivotal position prepares completion and turnover documentation check lists for each system with both the building & process. Manage, monitor and oversee static inspections and checks based on P&ID’s, piping, electric and instrumentation compliance with design documents. Prepare weekly status reports to keep the project on tract and communicate to all stake holders. This is a full time internal position with Faithful+Gould that comes with robust benefits. This position will be located at our client project site in Lock Haven, PA with some travel to other location sites.

Responsibilities
-Assemble check-out / walk-down manuals
-Generate and maintain completion matrix
-Work with contractors to ensure construction activities are completed by priority
-Schedule / coordinate / conduct system walk-downs
-Compile and manage punch list
-Review turnover documents for accuracy and completeness
-Coordinate Equipment Vendor activities
-Liaise with end user to ensure seamless transition from construction to operations

Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or equal amount of time in related field plus 4 years of related relevant experience
-Pulp / Paper experience preferred but not necessary
-Highly organized
-Proficient with Microsoft suite of programs
-Understanding of systems based start-up
-Knowledge of construction check-out processes
-Ability to read and interpret construction specifications / drawings / other documents
-Physically capable of climbing, walking moderate distances and standing for extended periods
MUST have Experience with:
-Pipe flushing / testing
-Precision alignment of rotating equipment
-Validation of power distribution systems
-Testing of instrumentation
-Utility tie-ins
-Chapter 17 (Special Inspections)
-Building systems (fire sprinkler, fire alarm, security, BAS, HVAC)
-Assist in Obtaining Certificates of Occupancy
