Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Marietta, GA Office as a Contracts Administrator.

Major Function/Role:

Responsible for lifecycle contracts administration to include reviewing, tracking and storing solicitations and contract documentation, preparing routine budget and compliance reports, and preparing routine certifications. Assists senior level contracts managers and administrators with general contracts administration.

Job Duties:
- Assists senior level contracts managers and administrators in the planning and execution of pre-award and post-award contracts administration actions.
- May perform and coordinate subcontract procurement activities to include vendor solicitation, vendor audits for price and quality, and preparation of sole source selection justification.
- Ensures all contract documentation is complete and accessible in company repository. This includes the contracts and all pertinent sign off documentation and work papers.
- May prepare consulting agreements to include nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements and joint venture agreements.
- Coordinates with program managers to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled and compliance requirements are completed.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices.
- Participates in special projects.
- Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.


Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent discipline. Previous experience related to FAR procurement or Federal contracts administration preferred.
Without a degree, six years of relevant experience required. Must demonstrate knowledge and working familiarity with the FAR. Experience with multiple contract types, performance-based contracting required.

Special Skills:

Good analytical and organizational skills. Ability to perform mathematical calculations, to understand contract plans and specifications, organize information, and effectively utilize PC and applicable software.

Additional Requirements:

Job requires ability to process paper/electronic documents and operate computer keyboard and 10-key adding machine. Ability to plan and prioritize tasks, and review contract documents, project plans and progress reports. Ability to communicate effectively and work under the pressure of deadlines.
