Cost Engineer

Our PA team is growing! If you want to be a part of a successful global organization and have at least 1 year of experience as a Cost Manager on Construction projects, we would like to connect with you. We are looking for specific experience in providing cost management services including invoice validation, cost forecasting and reporting, change management, close out administration, procurement management, earned value and value engineering.

This position is located in Lock Haven, PA. at a client construction project site.

This position is open to individuals who are willing to travel with daily per diem for the duration of the project.  This is an internal fulltime position with Faithful+Gould that comes with robust benefits. Responsibilities

-Providing cost management services including invoice validation, cost forecasting and reporting, changemanagement, close out administration, procurement management, earned value and value engineering.

-coordinating with the architect, structural engineer, civil engineer, and MEP engineers to determine cost effective solutions during the design process.
-writing detailed scopes of work for construction contracts to be implemented by the field operations team.
-coordinate the scopes of work of multiple trades to ensure nothing is missed for the project team.
-work in a fast paced environment with multiple, concurrent projects and aggressive deadlines.
 

 Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or  four years of related field Expereince

-Minimum 2 years of related relevant experience in cost management in construction

-Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
