Our company Faithful+Gould (www.fgould.com) is an International Property, Construction & Event Management Consultancy with specialist capability in the Project and Construction management of a varying types of projects, with offices across Asia, Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Subcontinent and Australia. Our office locations are complemented by those of our Parent group ATKINS enabling us to draw on an international knowledge base in delivering the next project to our large and extensive client base.

Position Summary:

The Cost Manager will manage the commercial aspects of various projects from initial concept to final account settlement. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently, and manage project costs, whilst still achieving and delivering the highest standards, quality, integrity and transparency. The successful candidate must be motivated, possessing strong career and development aspirations.

Responsibilities

Prepare estimates and cost plans for variety of private and public sectors projects
Prepare standard documentation – reports, valuations, letters, financial reports
Prepare tender documents as required
Analyze tenders and prepare tender reports at all stages of procurement
Prepare valuations and cost reports; re-measure as necessary and adjust variations
Assist in the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims
Prepare and agree final accounts
Other duties as may reasonably be required for a Cost Manager

Requirements

3-5 years’ experience
Excellent IT skills
Firm understanding of contracts methods
Excellent communication skills
The ideal candidate will be results driven, self-motivated and resourceful with excellent client relationship skills
Recognised BSc in a construction related discipline
Diploma holders with 5 years’ experience and above can also apply.
