We are looking for Diploma Trainee Engineers to join our team. This role will be based at our Atkins office in Bangalore and Gurugram, IN.

Are you an Engineer with flair for inventory cataloguing and database processing, who thrives on analysing and solving difficult problems? Are you drawn to complex projects and excited by the opportunity to develop and learn new skills? If so, you might enjoy being part of a team delivering high profile projects across a variety of clients and sectors. You will be part of a dynamic team delivering exciting projects in the nuclear industry sector. You’re likely to be handling challenging engineering analysis and database processing tasks, so enjoying analytical problem solving is a must.

Note:

  • Must have – Good communication in English (Verbal & Written)
  • Mode of Employment – 6 months (extension/conversion to full-time role based on performance)
  • Location – Bangalore or Gurugram
  • Stipend during Training – 15,000INR PM
  • Tentative Start date – 05th June 2023
  • Minimum % of marks – 60% in Diploma final results

How will you contribute to the team?

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • You will work within small to medium-sized engineering teams. To benefit from the collective experience of the team, our clients and drive innovative thinking, you’ll work in a collaborative and supportive office environment. You will bring a level of technical knowledge and enthusiasm to working within those teams to effectively perform tasks for multiple workstreams.

Work involves processing of vendor spare catalogue as below post training:

  • Input review and collate data from drawings, equipment list, specs, spares list and other details as provided by vendor.
  • Update the master spreadsheet based on above input as per specified format and checklist in excel.
  • Deliverable output provides consolidated data for spares including BOM, material ID, Material, safety class, part #, drawing # etc.
  • Ensure robust self-review for 100% defect free output.
  • Attend daily meetings on progress status update and technical clarifications.
  • Raise timely red flags for required missing / additional inputs with Leads / UK office as required.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliverables as assigned.
  • Proactive approach in suggesting automation ideas to improve existing process.
  • Data web scrapping from vendor portal.
  • Support in other Asset management / engineering document support as per project requirement.

  • Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electronics / Electrical / Control & Instrumentation).

  • An interest in the engineering and safety intricacies of commercial nuclear reactor power plants.
  • Ability to comprehend high-level technical documents in a detail-oriented manner
