Director, National Laboratory Programs

This position is based out of our office in Oak Ridge, TN, and reports to our Chief Operating Officer. The Director of National Laboratory programs is responsible for the leadership and oversight of National Laboratory Programs.

How will you contribute to the team?

  • Responsible for capturing and executing work across the DOE national laboratory complex. 
  • Responsible for keeping themselves approximately half time utilized on direct project work as well as build and manage a technical group providing reach back or seconded direct support to the DOE labs. 
  • Responsible for developing a strategy to provide collaboration between our international national lab efforts including CNL, the US labs and the ITER program in Europe.   
  • Intimately involved in developing capture strategies for our Tier 1 National Laboratory pursuits including the identification and selection of Key personnel. 

What will you contribute?

  • Doctorate Degree Required.
  • Minimum of 20 years’ experience in National Laboratory Environment.
  • Minimum 10 years’ managing directorate in National Labs.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to positively represent the company to the customer.
  • Ability to conceptually develop products/processes that meet/anticipate market conditions.
  • Proposal management and development skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
