Following a very successful 2023 AtkinsRéalis is looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to support a variety of exciting projects including:

Hinkley Point C (HPC), Sizewell C (SZC), Small Modular Reactors (SMR) and defence-based work. You’ll be joining a friendly and rapidly growing Integrated Engineering Solutions (IES) team within the Power New Build part of our business. This team specializes in supporting the delivery of nuclear new build projects for clients that are major operators in the nuclear sector. Ideally applicants will be:

  • Significantly educated in electrical/electronic engineering, mechatronics, building services or engineering mathematics. You may possess a BTEC National Diploma, HNC/HND, foundation degree, bachelor’s degree, or any level 3+ qualification in any of these subjects.
  • Energised to take responsibility for design, optioneering, evaluation and assessment of Electrical systems, as stand-alone technical tasks, or part of large multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Able to act as a connector supporting multi-disciplinary designs alongside our Mechanical, Process and Civil/Structural engineers as well as having resilience to overcome key client project challenges when providing design and commissioning support.

Rewards and Benefits:

We offer an industry standard salary that is regularly tested against other consultants with a default 25-days leave each year plus bank holidays and options to buy extra or sell some of that leave.
