We are seeking a Finance Accounting Manager - Remote. This is a remote position based out of our Richland, WA office.

How will you contribute to the team?
Interacts with PMO and PNWHA and other departments to ensure financial objectives are met.
Oversees the accounting and finance functions for the PNWHA as part of the PMO.
Manages general ledger accounting functions and reviews general ledger account reconciliations.
Manage and forecast cash flow.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations for non-profits.
Provides analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual results as compared to budgets and forecasts.
Prepares, examines and/or analyzes accounting records, financial statements or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to GAAP or other standards.
Ensures cost for grants are properly accounted for in accordance with 2 CFR 200 Cost Principles
Assists with preparation of the annual operating budgets and forecasts.
Supports external and internal audits.
Oversees internal control implementation.
Implement, monitor and update organizational policies and procedures.
Participates in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings.
Assists with preparation of internal management reporting and other ad hoc reporting requests.
Supervises staff.
Provides staff training and development.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What will you contribute?
Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
A Master of Business Administration or Master of Accounting preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of large accounting, complex non-profit environment, and/or grant management systems.
A minimum of 5 years of management or leadership experience.
Knowledge of non-profit and fund accounting as well as government contracts and/or grants.
Experience with Deltek Costpoint preferred.
Preferred experience working with government auditing agencies on compliance reviews and audits.
Has expert understanding of accounting and finance principles and practices.
Detailed knowledge of revenue recognition, budgeting and forecasting.
Detailed knowledge of general ledger functions.
Detailed knowledge of technical accounting issues.
Detailed knowledge of accounting systems.
Ability to perform complex accounting tasks.
Advanced proficiency using Excel, including creating pivot tables and other data manipulation techniques.
Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong people-management skills.
Certified Management Accountant or Certified Public Accountant preferred.
Must be a U.S. citizen in order to be considered.

Expected compensation range is between $86,000 - $144,000 annually/hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
Upon acceptance of an offer, all candidates must go through a drug screen test and background check. AtkinsRéalis is a federal contractor which mandates a satisfactory background screening report and drug test that supersedes state laws.
