Data Transfer Solutions, LLC has an immediate opening for a GIS Specialist in Orlando, FL. We are looking for highly motivated, genuinely excited and enthusiastic applicants who want to develop their skills and push technical limits.

MAJOR FUNCTION/ROLE:

Under direct supervision, provides competent technical support to engineers, planners, architects, surveyors or scientists working in transportation, development, environmental, land surveying or other technical services of the company.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geography, Urban Planning, Computer Science, Remote Sensing or related field

2+ years of related work experience or a Master’s degree in a related field

Proficiency with latest versions of ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS for Server

Competency with ArcPy API

Experience with Python, SQL, ModelBuilder, ArcSDE

Demonstrated ability to publish and manage map, feature and geoprocessing services using ArcCatalog and ArcGIS Server Manager

Interest in solving spatial problems using python scripts, models, etc.

Proven resourcefulness

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist Asset Management team

Maintain python automation scripts
