Lead Document Control

This role will be based in Vancouver, BC.

Your role within the Team:

• Develop, implement, and assess implementation of Document Management procedures and processes.
• Ensure Project documentation are received, tracked, and monitored according to Document Management Plan.
• Develop and provide training, guidance and coaching to other Document Controllers, internal and external users to ensure consistent approach.
• Provide accurate and timely status reporting metrics of all pertinent document control functions.
• Provide document management oversight on the project and ensure that systems and procedures are being properly utilized.
• Responsible to oversee, implement, maintain, and support the continued development of tools, systems, processes, and procedures.
• Other duties as required.

The ideal candidate:

• 8 - 10 years of previous experience in a document management role within the construction, infrastructure or related industry is required.
• Proven experience in all areas of document management including issue, creation, retrieval and retention.
• Proven ability in managing and developing Document Controls systems, tools, processes and procedures within the engineering and construction sector.
• Proficient experience with Aconex is required including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to proactively identify project document management needs and work effectively within a fast-paced environment with various deadlines and competing priorities.
• High school diploma is required, studies related to the field are an asset.

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $68,800 - $94,600 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
