SNC-Lavalin Atkins business seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Minneapolis, MN Human Resources Group as a Global Mobility Coordinator. This position is a temporary position for up to 1 year. 


MAJOR FUNCTION/ROLE

This position is primarily responsible for providing day-to-day support and administration to the Global Mobility function, helping facilitate all mobility processes, as needed, throughout the mobility lifecycle. There will be exposure to domestic relocation, international relocation, international expatriate assignments, immigration and special global mobility projects to support the growing/changing needs of the business.


JOB DUTIES

  • Respond to inquiries from employees, managers at all levels, HR team members and vendors on mobility processes.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and support while assisting in the resolution of mobility related issues, liaising with appropriate parties.
  • Interface with managers, third party vendors, HR teams, transferees and expats as needed to complete all required documentation for the administration of the mobility process.
  • Assist in the generation of offer and assignment letters and relocation documentation.
  • Initiate new authorizations with third party vendors.
  • Generate, audit and maintain various reports.
  • Invoice and expense report processing and purchase order management, liaising with A/P and other departments as necessary.
  • Update mobility content on applicable SharePoint sites.
  • May perform such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human resources or related field with two years of experience in Human Resources administration or Relocation/Global Mobility. With no degree, equivalent experience.

SPECIAL SKILLS
  • Strong organizational skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills. 
  • A passion for customer service. Ability to multi task and prioritize workload in a demanding, fast paced environment. 
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity. Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion. 
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
