Strategy:

• Formulate BIM strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Build, create and ensure appropriate BIM organization design to deliver the strategy
• Prioritize the appropriate service offerings as per internal skill readiness
• Develop and implement the go-to-market strategy for the new business line
• Develop and Maintain best practices/techniques of BIM
• Build a network of BIM Champions around the company

Key Performance Indicators

• BIM Strategy sign off
• Implementation of key milestones

Commercial

• Develop cost structures and pricing points in order to build a profitable business (both for the external market & internal clients)
• Be the source of up to date Market intelligence 
• Identify and provide solutions/ services for  emerging trends in BIM
• Attract and induct talent to develop and maintain best practices / techniques of BIM competency of the GDC
• Develop strong relationship with BIM leaders within Atkins resulting in inflow on BIM projects/work
• Tap potential market for BIM Services outside of Atkins both domestic and International

Key Performance Indicators

• Identify and target the needs of the internal and external clients
• Identification of skills required for the future
• Recruit technically qualified X talent (resource internally or externally)
• Client feedback (internal and external)
• Should account and deliver the revenue from and within the BIM team as decided by the management

Technical

• Strong experience on BIM and associated technologies
• Shape the technical capability of the workforce to the desirable level for the future whilst ensuring high
• quality delivery in the present
• Strong knowledge in the architecture/building design / infrastructure design
• Provide full lifecycle consultation for BIM projects
• Review and approve project design changes
• Should have good visualization skills and ability to provide direction on projects of complex nature
• Delivers best in class quality optimised resource management whilst meeting and exceeding stakeholder expectations
• Identify internal skill gaps and provide appropriate training.

• Develop quality checking process

MAJOR CHALLENGES

• Win work with appropriate BIM service line offerings, within internal capability boundaries, budgets et al.
• Volatility of work as a new business unit and manage costs/ business needs/ priorities
• Manage expectations of various stakeholders (HoDs in GDC, Regional counterparts, etc).
