JD Edwards, Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the implementation, operations and support of the core project management system across multiple projects. Also responsible for managing process changes, configuration, testing, training and platform support, as well as integrating with other software applications and BI tools.

Responsibilities:

o Manage implementation of JD Edwards modules on project start-ups and support operations on active construction projects.

o Promote the project management systems on prospective projects and liaise with stakeholders.

o Oversee training program.

o Ensure support structure and mechanism are in place and operating reliably.

o Identify problem areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner.

o Plan project effort and adhere to budgets and timelines.

 Lead the systems team by training and coaching employees, communicating work expectations and evaluating their performance.

o Collaborate with IT solution management teams to track the development and configuration of solutions.
 

Qualifications:

o Bachelor's degree in computer science, administration, engineering or other related field.

o Experience in implementing ERP Solutions (JD Edwards prefered)

o  Over 10 years experience in an integrated project system, with significant experience in cost management systems, procurement systems, finance systems, document management, time management and design tools.

o Have proven work experience as a systems manager or relevant experience.

o Experience in personnel management.

o Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing and training materials for experienced users.

o Experience in construction would be an asset.

o Bilingual French and English oral and written.
