We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Junior Motion Graphics Designer to join our creative team based in Birmingham.

As a part of our in-house Creative Design team, which is based in 6 locations throughout the UK, you will have the opportunity to work with 59 film makers, designers and developers on exciting and challenging projects in a fast paced, progressive environment.

The ideal candidate should possess an outstanding portfolio of motion design work, demonstrating creativity, ingenuity and a good eye for design. It’s essential that the candidate is innovative and is prepared to develop new skills and explore new technologies.

Responsibilities:
• Report to Technical Lead in Motion, contribute daily to project discussions and get involved with the wider team.
• Collaborate within the creative team to develop briefs, storyboards, scripts and style frames.
• To deliver high quality motion graphic content across a wide range of styles and platforms. Including 3D, 2.5D and 2D.
• Contribute to the development of the business through innovation and working with other disciplines.


Requirements:
Essential:

• Proven relevant creative industry experience in a creative design, animation or media post-production environment
• An advanced understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud, with a focus on Adobe After Effects, Photoshop & Illustrator.
• A flair for visual storytelling and complex motion design techniques
• Good IT skills with an understanding of excel, word, PowerPoint, or relevant compatible software
Desirable:
• Experience with a 3D animation package, Cinema 4D preferably
• Experience with using Premiere Pro and editing video.
• Experience with 3rd party plug-ins / scripts and pre-sets for After Effects.
• A focused interest in illustration, graphic design, digital design or interactive animation
