We are currently looking for a Landscape and Arboricultural Inspector  to join our Environmental team working out of our Leatherhead, South Mimms or Dartford office.You will be supporting the Arboricultural and Landscape Manager with soft estate and tree surveys.Preparing works orders for the AMFP programme and supporting Environmental Designated Funds landscape programme.



Key responsibilities / duties:


Soft estate, ponds, vegetation along  ditches and boundary fence surveys, assist with arboricultural surveys

Assist with the preparation of the AMFP, prepare work schedules and raise orders and liaise with subcontractors

Instruct and oversee the invasive weed programme

Liaison with GIS specialist to update EnvIS

Supervision of EDF landscape works

Provide input into EDF landscape scheme development, by identifying potential locations for schemes and proposals

Provide technical advice on soft estate/landscape management related issues

Deliver environmental toolbox talks

Assist with depot inspections and air quality monitoring tube collection programme

·    Environmental Impact Assessment reports as required

·    Environment Team tasks as required

 

Working arrangements (shift work, need for travel etc)

 

·    To be based in CPS office at Leatherhead with significant travel around the M25 network

Qualifications/ skills/ experience:


·    Experience of working in landscape/soft estate maintenance


·    Holder of a current LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection award or prepared to work towards arboricultural qualifications

     Membership of or working towards membership of a professional body relevant to landscape management or arboricultural management. 

     Holder of a current CSCS card

·    Full UK driving licence
