Landscape Architect – Site Supervision

We are currently are looking for a Landscape Architect with a minimum of 7 - 10 years relevant experience to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified and preferably with a professional affiliation (or eligible for membership), candidates will ideally have minimum 7 - 10 years relevant working experience in Landscape Architecture design, documentation and site implementation.

  • Will be capable of working on their own or within/ assisting leading a team of like discipline individuals and creating designs relevant to Middle East environment.

Technical Competencies

  • Degree qualified (from recognized Tertiary Institution),

  • Must be familiar with Site Supervision, design, tender and construction processes

  • Good working knowledge of the following software - Auto CAD, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Creative ability and design flare, suitable for a range of landscape and planning projects

  • Behavioral Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English essential

  • Able to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a proactive way

Responsibilities

  • Establish project scope and objectives

  • Preparation and maintenance of programme for design review and ensuring its implementation

  • Financial management of the design

  • Identify and manage project specific risks

  • Set out / agree design standards and parameters

  • Monitoring quality of the work

  • Preparation of design changes

  • Appointment and management of all required sub-consultants or other services

  • Technical co-ordination with discipline heads and subordinates
