Lead Commercial Consultant

Responsibilities

-Manages complex and unconventional technology or delivery systems for a single significant project within a defined technical specialty.

-Projects involve high levels of regulatory agency involvement or very complex technical requirements.

-The project is for a nuclear new bid program with all related infrastructure. The delivery is EPC reimbursable cost, plus with incentives for schedule.

-Provides n support to the client organization for tracking the commercial aspects of the project, for support of documenting exchange and communication and information that could impact the cost to the client. , -Ensures that quality management and technical services are provided to clients and that operating performance targets are met.

-Mentors contract and commercial management staff.

-Monitors progression of the project to defend claims and compliance with the contract

Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Contracts, Project Controls, or Project -Management experience of at least ten years.

-Claims and Commercial Management experience a plus.  

-Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision- making abilities.

-Must possess specific expertise to the extent that the individual is regarded as a regional or potentially national expert in specific discipline, contract delivery method, particular type of project, planning process, design method, or modeling technique.

-Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.

-Must have the ability to manage and coordinate efforts of various projects to produce budgeted profits and overall results.

-Must possess financial management, team management, and leadership skills.
