Our Epsom studio are seeking a Part I Qualified Architect. Working in a multi-discipline team of Architects & Engineers, providing a professional design service to our clients, this is a great opportunity for professionals to gain technical exposure within an internationally renowned consultancy.

Current and forthcoming projects include concept through to detailed design of projects covering the following sectors:
• Defence
• Police
• Aviation
• Energy
• Leisure

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities shall include but not limited to the following:
• Working as part of a team in the preparation of production information and working drawing packages
• Preparing concept scheme designs from Client briefs
• Compilation of reports and documents and supporting the rest of the team in drafting documents for bids, expressions of interest and competitions
• Client facing responsibilities
• Communicating schemes in a mixed portfolio of media from 2D CAD to the latest photorealistic 3D software packages
• Preparing quickly feasibility options for various projects and working with other disciplines to test the validity of designs
• The ability to develop details based on the hand sketches/details
• Responsible for completion of tasks assigned to time and quality
• Effective communication and coordination on assigned tasks within the discipline
• Compliance with Atkins QA/QC procedures and implementation of procedures
• Managing one’s own time and keeping abreast of latest trends and technologies

Requirements:

• Part 1 qualified Architect
• Proficient in AUTOCAD
• Good working knowledge of software’s such as REVIT, InDesign, Photoshop, Sketchup etc
• Prior experience of working within an Architectural Practice or within a Consultancy Environment
• Previous experience of producing concept designs
• Able to draw ‘free hand’ sketches and illustrate to a high level
• Able to present information clearly to colleagues and external clients
• Capable of working and completing tasks independently as well as demonstrating a strong team work skills
• Able to demonstrate an adaptable and approachable approach to your role

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary it will be discussed with you at interview
