Payroll Specialist
Our team is growing in Chicago! If you want to be a part of a successful global organization and have 2+ years of payroll specialist experience. General position duties include: ensuring the daily timesheets for contracts are given to and signed by appropriate rep, providing professional support to invoice validation, change management and close out administration, including assistance with procurement, earned value and value engineering. This position is located at our premier client site in Whiting, IN and requires everyday commuting.This is a full time internal position with Faithful+Gould with full benefits.

Responsibilities
- Supports the preparation and issuance of periodic cost reports.

- May input PO, orders, and invoices into the cost report where applicable.

- Supports in the preparation of a cash flow with the cost report, and issues to clients finance/construction team.

-Authorize TRACK allocations and override requests based on comparison to contractor timesheets and review of the SAP purchased orders being allocated.

-Audit overrides and ensure the overrides are per CLIENT policy before authorizing.

-Log, save and audit invoices that are uploaded into TRACK.

-Enter time for Non-TRACK contractors into workbook and when auditing invoices for non-TRACK contractors, compare to timesheets.

-Maintain files for timesheets and invoices.

-Prioritize and manage assigned workload.

-Report on work progress weekly as required by WPT PSM.

-Provide feedback on TRACK items exceeding the limit on purchase orders and maintenance orders.

-Work to resolve unexpected or unusual cost items and provide information to the other WPT team members of unresolved items in a timely manner.

-Keep up-to-date on CLIENT timesheet policies and rules relating to WPT contractors.


Requirements
- 2+ years of Payroll experience.
-Demonstrated proficiency with a large-scale cost reporting system is required
-Thorough familiarity with MS office suite software - Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excel skills should include solid knowledge of complex formulas, Pivot tables, and lookups.
-Demonstrated ability to understand technical and complicated construction programs, and explain nuanced cost issues to both technical- and management-level personnel.

-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-Proven ability to collaborate with all team members
-Motivated and result-driven individual focused on growing within PDG’s Project Controls discipline
