Principal Engineer - Systems Assurance

Responsibilities:

• Provide Consultancy services on safety assurance and independent Safety Assessment on railway projects.
• Lead an assessment team to conduct Independent Safety Assessment services for safety-related systems in railway construction or in generic product development projects.
• Support the Systems Engineering and Assurance Department to undertake business development activities in line with the departmental business growth strategy.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer / Electronic / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering and achieved relevant professional qualification
• Over 15 years of working experience with solid experience in systems assurance and software quality assurance for railway systems preferably including signaling system, rolling stock and Platform Screen Doors.
• Experienced in implementing or assessing safety and quality assurance processes against the requirements of ISO 9001, EN50126, EN50128, EN50129 and IEC 61508.
• A minimum of 5-year safety or software assurance audit experience
• Candidate with the qualification for ISO 9001 Lead Auditor is preferable.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Putonghua
• Available for frequent travel
• Applicant with less experience can be considered for the Senior Engineer position.
