Procurement Support Specialist
Our North Carolina team is growing! If you want to be a part of a successful global organization and have at least 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, we would like to connect with you. This position will focus on asset management and procurement of capital equipment for a major construction program. The environment will be fast-paced and dynamic, the right resource will be encouraged to develop innovative solutions to tackle challenging problems. Superb communication and organization is a must; previous semiconductor experience is a positive. This is a full time positon with Faithful+Gould that will be located at our client site in Durham, North Carolina.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects and client satisfaction
• Generates purchase orders for major equipment
• Manages inventory for asset liquidation, maximizes value for the client
• Communicates with confidence and certainty with Clients, vendors and subs
• Examines and reviews contracts and estimates to ensure costs are acceptable
• Ensures compliance with contracting processes
• Supports the following: preparation of material and vendor orders; recording the receipt of materials and approving payments
• Prepares sub-contractor request for quotation’s (RFQ) including: scope statements; plans and milestone dates; specs; bonding requirements; and billing schedule of values
• Receives and qualifies subcontractor proposals
• Meets with contractors to discuss scope of project; budgets; performance; and close-out
• Maintains client satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating accordingly
• Establishes a professional relationship with the client and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviews

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, Supply Chain Management or related experience (6 more years’ experience in place of a Degree)
• At least 2 years of Experience as a Supply Chain Professional, familiarity with semiconductor and unit rate contracting is a plus
• Understanding of construction trade software such as Primavera, PowerBI, Bluebeam and Microsoft Office; strong data analytics is required
• Must understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite
