How will you contribute to the team?

  • Leading a multidisciplinary team, he will carry out the project, ensuring the objectives related to cost, schedule, quality and of course, health and safety.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team, including team management, design and construction under its responsibility.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of modern construction techniques including incorporation of digital modeling and tools for efficiency in construction and for the benefit of client life cycle (technology, equipment, methods); company policies, procedures and standards, union jurisdiction, labor agreements and negotiations essential – experience with BCIB an advantage
  • Manage the relationship with the customer and work with his team for the administration of customer contracts.
  • Ensure the achievement of objectives related to cost, schedule, quality, and health and safety.
  • Support the management team under his supervision in the activities related to the procurement, planning, contract administration, cost control, estimating, quality, health and safety and the environment, etc.
  • Implementation of recovery plans as required
  • Supervise designers to ensure they meet job requirements and budgets
  • Ensure the implementation of quality and health and safety plan
  • Attend regular meetings or animate
  • Development of procurement strategies in collaboration with the sector team;
    o Negotiation and contract awards of subcontractors and suppliers;
    o Updating and monitoring the budget;
    o Production of monthly reports;
    o Monitoring the updated construction schedule;
    o Control of contract documents;
    o Management guidelines change;
    o Management of notice of changes;


What will you contribute?

  • Minimum of 20 years industry experience with a minimum of 10 years in project management and project delivery
  • Track record of leading technical business functions and/or project teams within a design, engineering, engineering-construction or consultancy context.
  • Experiences with Alliances projects
  • Interfaces with client representatives, architect representatives, union officials, subcontractors,
    security, etc, under an Alliance delivery framework in an open and transparent way.
  • Reputation for collaborative working and building and leading highly effectively teams of consultants, engineers and technical specialists
  • Experience of holding budgetary, commercial and contractual responsibilities
  • Strong client focus and a desire to achieve results including the ability to manage multiple priorities and time lines.
  • Working knowledge of all applicable codes and industry standards
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to make decisions using sound business judgment
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • People oriented with an ability to establish a high degree of credibility with staff and clients.
  • A strong leader who can motivate and engage a team with demonstrated strength in leading highly complex groups.
  • An excellent written and verbal communicator with superior interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Effective interpersonal communication and organizational skills
