The Project Construction Manager specializing in steel structures and industrial buildings is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects related to steel structures, such as warehouses, factories, industrial facilities, and other similar structures. They are experts in steel construction methods, materials, and industry-specific regulations, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
1.    Develop and implement project plans specifically tailored to steel structure and industrial building projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
2.    Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, and steel fabrication specialists to develop detailed designs and specifications for steel structures.
3.    Procure steel materials, equipment, and specialized subcontractor services required for the project, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
4.    Oversee steel erection and construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
5.    Manage project budgets and track expenses related to steel procurement, fabrication, and construction, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to budgetary constraints.
6.    Monitor project progress and performance against established schedules and milestones, identifying and addressing any issues or delays that may arise during construction.
7.    Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations applicable to steel structure and industrial building projects.
8.    Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
9.    Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and presentations related to steel structure and industrial building projects.
10.    Stay informed about the latest developments and innovations in steel construction technologies and practices, incorporating them into project plans as appropriate.

Qualifications:

1.    Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). UAE experience is mandatory.
2.    Proven experience in construction project management, with a specialization in steel structures and industrial buildings, with a minimum of 12 years of experience.
3.    In-depth knowledge of steel construction methods, materials, fabrication techniques, and industry-specific regulations.
4.    Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
5.    Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
6.    Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as specialized software for steel structure design and analysis.
7.    Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) and/or specialized training in steel construction technologies is highly desirable.
8.    Ability to travel to construction sites and attend meetings with clients and subcontractors as needed.

Working Conditions: The Project Construction Manager specializing in steel structures and industrial buildings typically works in an office environment but may also spend time on construction sites, where they may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and construction hazards. This position may require occasional travel to visit project sites or meet with clients and subcontractors.
