To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

To perform this role successfully, the candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Initial project planning including scope clarification and execution planning.
- Preparation of proposal submissions.
- Accountable for quality of design teams work.
- Prepare all technical documentation required for the execution of the project, including, but not limited to:
- Technical studies
- Design basis
- Conceptual designs
- Detailed designs
- Technical specifications
- Field work
- Tender Phase services
- Construction Phase Services
- Record drawings
- Health and safety of the team
- Establish and maintain a climate favorable to the application of ethical and professional practices in the execution of the engineering work.
- Develop H&S plans for projects, and ensure compliance with all applicable codes and legislation, including occupational health and safety, WHMIS and hazardous substances programs.

The ideal candidate:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Professional Engineer with 10 years experience in project management and industrial / intuitional facilities buildings design with the ability to travel within Canada as required. Project Management Accreditation (PMP) an asset
- Ability to obtain public works security clearance as a condition of employment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and practices and the flow of design in project management including all project management functions, design, contracts, procurement of services, and project accounting.
- Understanding of change management process with proven ability to manage conflict resolution and multiple complex projects, including experience performing risk analysis, preparing contracts, and purchase orders.
