As a Project Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of multidisciplinary projects, ensuring strong customer relationships, high safety standards, cost control, risk management, and timely updates. Lead high-performing teams to deliver exceptional results.

The Role:

Our high-performing Project Management Team is looking for a Project Manager to support our growth in London and the Southeast. At AtkinsRéalis, Project Managers transform potential into reality, managing the entire project lifecycle from bid to delivery. Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Project and Programme Management services across diverse projects.
  • Work independently with senior support, maintaining a proactive approach.
  • Manage project risk and chair risk workshops.
  • Oversee sub consultants and contractors to ensure quality delivery.
  • Support Account Managers with monthly reports and weekly client updates, managing project chaanges.
  • Understand and manage clients' programme and project objectives.
  • Maintain client relationships and service delivery on a project basis.
  • Promote AtkinsRéalis services and their benefits to clients.
  • Assist in developing new business opportunities and generating repeat business.
  • Contribute to project governance and fee management activities.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Relevant construction qualification.
  • Member or candidate for membership of a professional body (RICS, APM, CIOB).
  • Highly motivated, independent worker with attention to detail.
  • Experience delivering building projects from inception to completion.
  • Client-facing experience on a commission/project basis.
  • Experience with JCT and/or NEC contract administration.
  • Positive contribution to internal teams, adding value.
  • Good understanding of programme and scheduling software.
  • Technical knowledge in health, safety, and environmental standards in construction.
  • Ability to form effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.

Desirable:

  • Experience in both public and private sectors.
  • Knowledge of current legal developments in construction law.
  • Awareness of construction market trends, initiatives, and opportunities.
