Linxon is a joint venture company set up by SNC-Lavalin and ABB to turnkey electrical AC substation projects. Linxon will undertake turnkey electrical alternating current substation projects related to renewable and conventional power generation, power transmission and transportation solutions. Turnkey solutions will include project design, engineering, procurement, construction, management, commissioning and after-sales support.

Mission Statement
Lead the execution of medium-size projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with LINXON policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.
Main Accountabilities:
1. Project leadership Leads the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, and motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones. Provides performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects.
2. Planning and scheduling Defines, jointly with the Project Controls department, all project plan documents, including the scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans.
3. Project execution and control Ensures that the project follows the execution of best practices and LINXON policies. Effectively monitors and controls project progress and efficient resource utilization. Monitors and controls project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow. Identifies, qualifies, quantifies and manages project risks, and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued. Captures analyzes and shares lessons learned throughout the project.
4. Project closure Ensures that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed. Drives the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgment by the customer.
5. Contract and claims Ensures that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with LINXON policies and contractual agreements.
6. Procurement Coordinates with Supply Chain Management, and successfully procures required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers. Support Supply Chain Management in supplier negotiations, claims, and project changes.
7. Stakeholder relations Acts as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.
8. Sustainability Ensures the project follows and complies with company health & safety, environmental and security policies.
Requirements – Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge:
- Education and Training: BE/B. Tech Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil. About 12-15 years’ experience in project management, site management, handling multiple clients from Industry and Utility segment (Customers: PGCIL, Adani, WBSETCL, OPTCL, Tata Power, UPPTCL, Tata Projects, Sterlite, PGCB Bangladesh, CEB Sri Lanka etc.)
- PM Certification.
- Multitasking Skill: Able to monitor the progress of multiple projects and managing the team of project managers.
- Good grip in claim management, project and unit financial.
- Exposure in driving HSE across sites and projects.
