Rail infrastructure Engineer-in-Training

Important: The candidate must be available for day, night, weekday, and weekend shifts as needed.

Location – Vancouver, Burnaby, BC

Your role within the team:

  • Provide engineering support for the testing of railway systems and rail vehicles.

  • Support engineering analysis and project management with skills in MS Office, MS Project, Autocad.

  • Support communication with team members, client and external stakeholders verbally and in writing.

  • Manage own work schedule, deadlines and task responsibilities.

  • Prepare reports on work tasks.

The ideal candidate:

  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil engineering.

  • Flexibility for day, night, weekday, and weekend shifts is required based on operational needs.

  • Registered or eligible for registration with EGBC.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and MS Project.

  • Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a positive problem solving and collaborative approach.

Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $67,000 - $85000 annually). Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
