Recruitment Open Event – South West

WE’RE HIRING AND WE’D LIKE TO MEET YOU

Atkins and Faithful+Gould, members of the SNC-Lavalin group, are recruiting for a variety of roles and disciplines in the South West. On Thursday 11th July we'll be hosting a recruitment open event in Bristol with Atkins’ Digital Transformation Director Nathan Marsh as our keynote speaker and a range of influential people from across the business attending. It’s an opportunity to meet your future team members and claim your place on some of today’s most world-changing projects.

SHAPE THE FUTURE WITH US

We started out as Atkins – one of the world’s most respected international design, engineering and project management consultancies. Today we’re a core part of SNC-Lavalin, and we’re offering employees all the benefits you’d expect from a strong global company with enhanced scale, capabilities, expertise and more. Complementary geographies broaden our opportunities. And we’re already meeting fast growing demands for innovation and technology. We’re developing new ways to use Virtual Reality – from aiding us in the design process, to enabling clients to provide collaborative feedback, to making sites safer through virtual visits. The office is also developing new digital tools and apps to help us work smarter and quicker. When it comes to the competition, we are more agile, more responsive and more effective.

WORKING AT ATKINS

Join a large multinational company with an excellent reputation, as well as an impressive range of clients, projects and technological solutions. We have a dynamic work space that can offer you many different, exciting opportunities at every stage of your career. Our team is friendly, diverse and made up of many market-leading experts across the disciplines. The work style is to empower employees to get the job done – teams work collaboratively and are willing to be innovative, support each other and always improve the way we do things. We’re also proud of our vibrant graduate community that injects a great energy to the business.

Our goal is to be a truly inclusive employer, so we’re pursuing improvements for all underrepresented groups and promoting a more inclusive culture for everyone in the Atkins family. We’ve also signed Time to Change, pledging to smash the stigma around mental health by talking about it and guiding behaviour across all levels of our business. We also employ Mental Health First Aiders who look out for staff’s holistic wellbeing during personal challenges and particularly demanding projects.

We’re already an industry leader when it comes to supporting employees with out-of-work commitments, like mum and dads, athletes and reservists. We offer:

• Great flexible working choices

• Option to buy up to 15 days extra holiday a year

• Two days a year #givingback as a volunteer

Our offices are situated just outside of Bristol and are easy to get to from the city. Connections are excellent for weekend breaks to Devon, Cornwall, Wales, the Cotswolds and just about anywhere else via Bristol Airport. The city’s economy is currently flourishing, and Bristol & surrounds still offers great value for first time buyers.
