We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead and work on various Minerals and Metals projects from our Scottsdale, AZ office (near Phoenix, AZ).

About You:

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will participate in a wide range of exciting projects by leading design for earthworks, drainage systems, site underground services, water shed management, haul road designs and pumps systems on mineral and metal process plants, gas clean facilities, material handling facilities, and acid plant projects. You will have an integral role in managing and growing the AtkinsRéalis Minerals and Metals team in the US.  

How your experience will contribute to the team:

• Complete front-end, preliminary, and detailed design of infrastructure projects in the mining processing and municipal industries.

• Produce engineering documents such as, design reports, cost estimates and construction specifications, data sheets, bid documents, bid evaluations, engineering directives, and other data according to client specifications.

• Lead project civil engineering team and ensure that project design solutions are delivered in accordance with the relevant codes and regulations and to the highest industry standards on schedule and within budget.

• Establish and monitor cost and schedule for project deliverables.

• Interface with project teams to develop and implement multi-disciplinary project strategies.

• Perform quality check for all design work to ensure to meet AR QA/QC requirements.

• Provide field support.

• Write reports, technical memos.

Role Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering.

• Fifteen years of experience since bachelor’s or fourteen years since Master's.

• Extensive knowledge/experience in designs for earthworks, drainage systems, site underground services.

• Water shed management, haul road designs and pumps systems knowledge and experience preferred.

• Project management experience.

• Working knowledge of Civil 3D, AutoCAD.

• P.E. license is required (preferably in Arizona or Utah).
