Atkins North America Inc. seeks Senior Project Controls Manager in Tampa, Florida: Manage, revise, and maintain status of the detailed project cost estimate/forecast to include all phases from design/engineering, material/equipment procurement and deliveries, construction contracts through start-up activities and closeout.  Track and analyze project costs including budgets, commitments, actuals, accruals, forecasts, and contingency analysis.  Participate in the development and improvement of project controls systems. Recommend improvements in systems, tools, and methods of project controls / project management.  Establish project work breakdown structure in line with industry best practices.  Assist in analyzing project control requirements for bid review process to insure all cost control requirements are included into contracts & purchase orders.  Interact with other project groups regarding cost codes, purchase order commitments, change orders and sales tax issues to ensure accounting & regulatory compliance guidelines are implemented.  Work with senior project management staff to manage overall project cost control efforts. Work with scheduling staff to develop, manage, revise, and update integrated detailed project schedules including all phases of project execution. Ensure early identification of long lead items, resource constraints, and required project start dates.  Manage internal job costing in relation to the fee & services provided, resources required and all project reporting. Produce forecasts of total project costs, annual costs, monthly cash flow costs, variance analysis and explanations, as well as engineering and construction resource requirements. May be assigned to unanticipated work site locations in the United States. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or foreign equivalent and 3 years experience in the job offered or related occupation. Must have 3 years experience in project controls management for large scale construction projects (value over US$100,000,000), including all-inclusive budgets from pre-engineering to completion, identification of project risks, providing cost controls / scheduling / procurement / analysis of materials, ensuring compliance with Osha Safety Standards, and oversight of construction in the field in an Owners Representative or Construction Manager capacity.
