As a Project Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of multidisciplinary projects, ensuring strong customer relationships, high safety standards, cost control, risk management, and timely updates. Lead high-performing teams to deliver exceptional results.

The Role:

Our high-performing Project Management Team is looking for a Senior Project Manager to support our growth in London and the Southeast. At AtkinsRéalis, Project Managers transform potential into reality, managing the entire project lifecycle from bid to delivery. This is a great opportunity for a confident individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to build lasting client relationships, and a passion for teamwork. Responsibilities:

  • Lead project delivery with senior colleague support, managing consultant teams and monitoring progress through all RIBA stages.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing guidance and technical advice.
  • Prepare fee proposals and bid submissions, overseeing project financials.
  • Define and manage client project objectives, delivering consistent project management reports.
  • Manage client relationships and service delivery, ensuring resource management and wellbeing of internal project teams.
  • Stay updated on legal and technical project matters, applying quality assurance and environmental management principles.
  • Promote AtkinsRéalis services and benefits to clients, assisting in developing new business and generating repeat business.
  • Lead project governance and fee management activities, continuously pursuing performance improvements.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Construction qualification or extensive industry experience.
  • Chartered member of a professional body (RICS, APM, CIOB).
  • Experience overseeing project teams and delivering building projects from start to finish.
  • Client-facing experience with knowledge of public and private sector clients.
  • JCT and/or NEC contract administration experience.
  • Experience managing and mentoring team members, proficient in program and scheduling software.
  • Knowledgeable in health, safety, and environmental standards with strong relationship-building skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting colleagues through chartership.
