Software Developer

Education and Experience:

B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science, IT-related discipline or four years relevant computer programming experience after degrees in Engineering or other related disciplines. Minimal experience is required of incumbents with directly related Bachelor's degree. Non-degreed practitioners must demonstrate at least six years of direct experience in lieu of degree.

Special Skills:

Must be familiar with IT technology in general and possess programming skills in one or more of the following software packages/programming languages: C#, Java, C, Visual Basic, HTML, VBA, JavaScript and/or similar, with ability and willingness to learn others not exposed to as yet. Should have good interpersonal skills and be capable of developing technical writing and other communications skills as needed.

Professional Registrations:

No licenses or certifications required at this level.
