Responsibilities:

• Control and management of the whole life cycle of the projects in the Structure Team.
• Working within a multi-discipline team of engineers, technicians and other professionals to develop engineering designs from concept to detailed design and specifications.
• Liaise with Clients in relation to project progress, decisions and changes to ensure deliverables are met and produced on time and budget.
• Be a team leader to develop and grow the team with P&L responsibilities.
• Attend design meetings, site meetings and all other project related meetings.
• Responsible for business proposal/tendering and commercial negotiations.
• Seek for business opportunities across APAC regions proactively.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with professional qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering or other related disciplines.
• Membership of HKIE or other equivalent professional bodies.
• Registered Structural Engineer is preferred.
• At least 20 years’ experience, of which minimum 12 years post qualification experience in design construction management.
• Must have relevant design experience in building or infrastructure projects including foundation, Reinforced Concrete & Steel structures (including complex connection design).
• Subject Matter Expert in steelwork as it relates to design and erection of long span steelwork, staged analysis and construction engineering.
• Knowledge of construction documents, contracts, cost and programme is an advantage.
• Good interpersonal and technical skills and the ability to delivering schemes to a high technical standard on time and within budget.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to liaise and develop long term relationships with clients to ensure the commercial and technical success of projects.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge of Putonghua is an advantage.
