Translator (KSA National)

Faithful+Gould is looking to recruit an experienced Translator to join our team based in Riyadh, KSA. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to high profile projects, helping to shape the future of Riyadh. The programme is motivated by the need to provide affordable housing for Saudis, but in so doing aspires to impact positively on the non-oil GDP while reducing the local unemployment rate. The primary drivers are to provide 340,000 affordable residential units to be constructed in five new townships across the Kingdom. The development of the townships will include all the physical and social infrastructure required to create great community environments. A challenging 5-year timescale has been set for achieving the programme.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical documents accurately translated to the Management Consultants you will be supporting

• Proof reading translated documents

• Interpreting business correspondence and assisting with drafting responses

• Acting as an interpreter in meetings as and when required

• Producing high quality reports as required

Experience and Qualifications

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of professional work experience, with 5 years in a similar role

• A relevant translation qualification such as a Diploma in Translation or equivalent

• Strong written and spoken communication skills in both Arabic and English

• The proven ability to translate technical documents

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines

• Strong proven administration skills

• Strong IT skills
