We are looking for someone to support the delivery of advisory projects in Europe and Africa (there will be opportunities to work on assignments in other geographies). Working closely with the market lead to support both business development and technical delivery of projects you will be looking to develop your career in a true multi-disciplinary international consultancy environment.
This is a permanent position and it is expected that the position would be based in the UK in either London, Leeds or Manchester but required to travel overseas.


Requirement
 
The ideal candidate should have:
Consultancy experience in the transport sector;
Undergraduate degree in transport planning or relevant subjects (i.e. transport economics, geography, transport engineering, civil engineering). A post graduate qualification will be advantageous;
Membership of a relevant professional body;
Good networking capability;
Highly numerate and able to produce clear analytical research outcome of a complex problem;
Technical and management skills relating bid writing and project management;
Technical skills relating to transport planning, urban planning, policy and strategy and transport economics; and
Experience of working for International Funding Institutions like the World Bank, African Development Bank, JICA, EU will be advantageous.
