Job Summary:

• Would be part of Unified Communication Team to support Unified Solution services. To work in a larger Unified Communications Services environment, supporting other work processes & stake holders and offering customers a quality, efficient and effective service.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations:

• Work independently or in a team to support Microsoft Unified Communication Platforms, primarily supporting Avaya Cloud Office and Avaya On-premises infrastructure including Microsoft Teams and Office 365 applications.
• Provide end-to-end root cause analysis and assistance for issues related to Avaya Infra.
• Work closely with other internal teams to build security, reliability, and scalability into Avaya Infrastructure.
• Work independently or in a team to support Avaya Cloud Office and Avaya On-premises infrastructure, handling of escalated, P1 and P2 cases.

Behavioural skills:

• Good communication skills and interface well with the business, line, and senior management.
• To be customer focused and to display an analytical approach to problem solving.
• To be a team player, working with others to provide a quality service.
• Flexible in working in 24x7 rotational shifts or as demanded by the business.
• Unified Communications: 4 to 6+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of Avaya Cloud Office and Avaya On-Prem infra.
• Proficient in installation and configuration of Avaya Systems.
• Good understanding and Hands on experience on Avaya Call center solution.
• Recent VoIP experience on an enterprise network, including implementation of QoS for H.323 and/or Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) technology
• Experience with Avaya/Microsoft certified voice gateways (AudioCodes, Ribbon, etc.)
• Responsible for day to day adds, moves, changes, and user troubleshooting.
• Monitors, review, recommend, test, and implement new software revision/feature sets/patch evaluation and trade studies, periodic system refresh
• Recommends and integrate new Telecommunication Voice, Video and Unified Communications technologies.
• Person should be well versed with ITIL methodology and should have worked in ITIL environment.
• Recommends and integrate new Telecommunication Voice, Video and Unified Communications technologies.

Good to have:

• Knowledge on Microsoft Teams and O365 applications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
• Prepare relevant documentation such as known errors, solutions, major incident reports that will help in continuous improvement.

Educational Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering or Science.
• MBA preferred.
