Works as part of an architectural design team, leading work on defined segments of a project with limited guidance and supervision of a Senior Architect or nominated supervisor. Role also includes supervision and mentoring of junior staff members.

Duties and Responsibilities

Mentor, supervise and provide support to junior staff members

Conduct pro-active coordination with internal and external design disciplines to achieve a high quality, consistent set of presentation or design documents

Contribute to the preparation of design reports including Technical Report Writing

Proactively interface with Statutory Authorities and develop knowledge of codes, regulations and submission requirements

Assist in the review of tender and construction documentation

Set an example for team effort through a spirit of cooperation

Evidence of solid Architectural Design skills and understanding of the design process and interfaces between design disciplines

Excellent command of English (written and spoken). Knowledge of other languages is an added value
Qualification Required

Completion of five or six-year architectural degree program
-
B.Arch or B.Sc in Architecture
-
Minimum 5 years post graduate experience
