SNC-Lavalin Atkins business seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Architecture Team in Miami, FL as an Entry-Level Architectural Designer.

MAJOR FUNCTION/ROLE

Under supervision, performs entry-level architectural assignments.

JOB DUTIES

Applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of diversified architectural tasks requiring analysis, deductive reasoning, and knowledge of architecture, as obtained through a bachelor's degree program.
Review, respond to, and accept shop drawings, material submittals, and design related questions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Minimal experience is required.

SPECIAL SKILLS

Knowledge of Revit required.
Knowledge of architectural practice, building construction, documentation, and detailing.
Experience with construction documents is a plus.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to develop technical writing, computer, and communication skills.
AutoCAD experience is a plus.
