Key Responsibilities:

  • Asset Management Planning:
    • Develop and implement asset management strategies, policies, and procedures.
    • Conduct asset condition assessments and lifecycle analysis to determine maintenance and replacement needs.
    • Create and maintain an asset registry and database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

  • Maintenance and Operations:
    • Oversee the maintenance and operation of FM/infrastructure assets, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and efficient.
    • Coordinate and schedule regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
    • Develop and manage preventive maintenance programs to extend asset lifespan and reduce downtime.

  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare and manage budgets for asset management activities, including maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
    • Monitor and control expenditures, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.

  • Risk Management:
    • Identify and assess risks associated with infrastructure assets and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
    • Develop and implement emergency response plans for asset-related incidents.

  • Project Management:
    • Lead and manage infrastructure improvement projects from inception to completion.
    • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.
    • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
    • Communicate asset management plans and activities to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
    • Address stakeholder concerns and feedback promptly and effectively.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to asset performance and condition.
    • Generate reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and inform decision-making.
    • Use data-driven insights to optimize asset management practices and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Infrastructure/Facilities Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Professional certification in asset management (e.g., IAM Certificate, ISO 55001) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure asset management or a related field in GCC.
  • Strong understanding of asset management principles, practices, and standards.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing asset management strategies and programs.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering infrastructure projects.
  • Proficient in using asset management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based with site visits.
  • May require occasional travel.
  • Some evening or weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines.
