Role:
As the Assistant Project Drafter, you are required to perform all drafting activities required for the Singapore Grand Prix project.
You will be responsible for/to:
- Assist in drafting facility plans, recurrent drawings and sketches including other required drawings for the Singapore Grand Prix project using the latest version of AUTOCAD
Assist in ensuring that all construction drawings accurate as per client’s order and are to scale as required
Preparing ad-hoc drawings as requested by the team for submission to various external organizations such as FIA, STB, LTA, etc
Supporting and performing Engineering Service Desk (ESD) activities during the event
Performing miscellaneous ad-hoc duties as required by the Lead Project Drafter
Your duties will involve working with the project team, client and contractors.
You will be privy to confidential information by necessity. You will treat all such information with the highest levels of confidentiality and will perform your role with integrity and honour at all times.
You are required to ensure that all documents and administrative functions demonstrate high levels of accuracy and professionalism.
Liaise with other Superintending Officers to coordinate the activities of other Contractors such as Electrical, Plumbing, TV Hire etc. (which are managed under different packages) to ensure the facilities are being completed as per approved plan and schedule
Monitor the work progress, ensuring prompt delivery of the materials, track installation schedule and witness the final testing & commissioning as per the construction programme
Prior to the takeover of the facilities, conduct a joint inspection with the respective Contractors and generate the defects list to the Contractor. You are to ensure that the defects are fully rectified before taking over the said facilities
Perform final inspection of all facilities with Singapore GP
Your duties will involve working and coordinating work activities with other Supervisors and Singapore GP.

You are required to ensure that all documents and administrative functions demonstrate high levels of accuracy and professionalism
Competence:
You will have advanced knowledge of the latest version of AUTOCAD, have sound verbal and written communication skills, have sound computer literacy skills, have excellent interpersonal skills, have an eye for detail, and show initiative in suggesting alternate ideas and approaches.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility will be to assist and perform all drafting activities required for the Singapore Grand Prix project.Your duties will include but not be limited to:
General
- Drafting facility plans, drawings and sketches including other required facility drawings and sketches for the Singapore F1 Grand Prix project using the latest version of AUTOCAD
Assist in applying strict change control processes and procedures to document all plan, drawing and sketch versions.
Assist in creating full written descriptions of all changes to each version of all plans, drawings and sketches
Assist the Lead Project Drafter on site surveys and setting out contract that provides all topographical surveys and required set out points as per appropriate circuit plan
Assist in ensuring that all construction drawings accurate as per client’s order and are to scale as required
Preparing ad-hoc drawing as requested by team for submission to various external organizations such as FIA, STB, LTA, etc
Assist in collecting as built data such as photos and site inspections
Providing miscellaneous ad-hoc duties as required by the Lead Project Drafter
Administration
- Assist the drafting team in compiling drawings from government bodies, contractors and surveyor
Supporting and performing Engineering Service Desk (ESD) activities during the event
Training and managing the activities of other drafters as required to carry out the above activities
Learning and following Faithful+Gould processes and procedures as described by the BMS (Business Management System)

Skills & Attributes:
You will demonstrate:
- A capacity to deal professionally and confidently with a diverse range of people at all level.
- Sound knowledge of both systems and procedures to be used for preparing general construction drawings
- Strong written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to draft reports, minutes, correspondence, procedures, processes and forms
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Sound literacy in computer software, including the Microsoft Office range.
- Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel
- Flexibility and ability to work with different areas of the business
