Our Programme Advisory team:

We have had significant success in the infrastructure market over the last year which has meant that we are now one of the fastest growing parts of the organisation and have ambitious plans to grow even faster in the next few years. The advisory team supports our Complex Infrastructure clients’ sectors in setting up, assessing and transforming some of the largest and complex programmes in UK and beyond, within our Nuclear, Aviation, Defence, Water, Transportation, Power & Renewables sectors. We pride ourselves on our approach of empowering our clients through trusted collaboration, working with them to solve complex challenges, and building enduring capability that will set them up for the future.

Your Purpose:

As the Practice Manager for the North, you will be at the forefront of client delivery and operational management, leading a team of high-performing individuals and motivating them to excel with innovation at the core. You'll join the Programme Advisory (PA) Management Team, collaborating with senior managers to deliver our strategic vision and contribute to the PA's growth in the region. Your role will be crucial in selling comprehensive solutions to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Team Management: Lead talent development, growth, ensure staff engagement and satisfaction.
  • Client Engagement: Work closely with client directors to source new opportunities, develop bid proposals, and lead client engagement sessions.
  • Quality Management: Drive continuous improvement and innovation, leveraging our Global Technology Centre and Technical Leadership Groups.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface with the wider AR business, including Property and Engineering services, to enhance our brand and deliver our vision.
  • Programme Advisory Services: Provide business transformations, organisation design, portfolio management, and improve programme efficiencies and performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Tailor messages for diverse audiences and facilitate multi-media workshops with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commercial Acumen: Proactively manage commercial demands and opportunities.
  • Proactivity and Motivation: Thrive in complex, ever-changing environments, delivering high-quality advice and solutions.
  • Professional Certifications: Hold relevant certifications such as APM PMQ/PPQ/ChPP; MoP; MSP; PRINCE2, P3O, PROSCI, Lean, Six Sigma.
