Role Summary
 

As the Bid Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing every stage of our company’s proposal process. Your responsibility will be to ensure that all activities align with RFP requirements and result in the creation of competitive, high-quality marketing materials, proposals, statements of qualification, and presentations.
 

Based from our Brisbane office, this unique opportunity allows the successful candidate to take full ownership and leadership of the proposal development and strategy. By doing so, you will establish and shape a leading Win Work team. Additionally, this role involves leveraging our global capabilities and resources to achieve success.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Work with the wider Win Work team to add project capture plan, benefits, solutions, and proof into the proposal, and deliver proposals on time that are compliant, clear, and compelling.

• Ensures pursuits are accurately tracked through CRM system. Accountable for ensuring implementation of AtkinsRéalis proposal development process and tools and AtkinsRéalis’ brand initiatives.

• Plan, schedule, budget, outline, storyboard, develop text, for proposals, manage proposal production.

• Identify appropriate authors, section and volume leaders, subject matter experts (SMEs) and other support personnel to successfully develop a proposal.

• Develop graphical content (organisation charts, info graphics, photographs) with project team and graphics specialists.

• Coordinate communication between the team developing the proposal content.

• Provides high impact, compelling writing on sections of the proposal and customizes projects.

• Perform research and interview staff to help write/translate complex concepts into a narrative that can be understood by non-technical readers.
   

Desired Skills, Experience and Capabilities

• Demonstrated experience Leading the bid/proposal process from capture stage to project appointment.

• Enthusiastic and highly organised, methodical and flexible.

• Possess excellent people leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Work well under time pressure and deadlines.

• Possess Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics CRM, and Adobe Acrobat InDesign.

• Experience of leading and facilitating workshops to drive winning strategies.
