We are seeking a Business Improvement Manager to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Role responsibilities:
Maintain up-to-date records for the Business Improvement pipeline of ideas and projects to ensure prioritisation of ideas and active attendance at the change board.
Engage with idea proposers to assess and action new improvement ideas.
Track progress of improvements to encourage completion and support benefits assessment.
Working with the Health and Safety team, process improvement suggestions, and support improvements where required.
Carry out process mapping, value stream mapping, identifying inefficiencies in productivity.
Develop business cases for Lean process improvement projects, including other stakeholders where necessary.
Engage with Lean Practitioners across the business to assist in the delivery of projects.
Progress Lean projects that enable the reduction in waste, deliver benefits to the business and align with the digital transformation programme.
Collect and analyse data.
Engage proactively with National Highways improvement team to share best practice and promote collaboration.
Skills & Experience:
Lean/Continuous Improvement experience (minimum Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent).
Demonstrated leadership in the delivery of structured business improvement projects with experience leading project teams.
Experience of structured root cause analysis methodologies, such as DMAIC, 8D or similar Continuous improvement tools.
Proficient in working with/supporting colleagues in delivery of their improvements.
Demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation and excellent attention to detail, good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to display and explain complex data in an engaging way.
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the business.
Flexibility to work across all sites as required.
